Surely commissioned by Turler, the premium, and still privately held, specialty shop for watches established in Zurich, Switzerland in 1893. Who knows how many like these were made, could be the only one. The black roman numerals against the pure white dial is just splendid. Finished with black hour and minute hands and a black sweep second hand. Date window at 3 o'clock, white on black, with International Watch Co., Schaffhausen and 'Turler' at 12 o'clock. |
