Size | Large 37mm |
Dial | Black dial beauty. Longines logo at 12 o'clock in rose gold as are the hands and hour markers. Longines name is applied in white as are the lines around the second subdial at 6 o'clock. |
Case | Solid 18K rose-gold case, stamped 18K and 750 and "IND AR", which means "Industria Argentina". This indicates to me that this watch was cased in Argentina. It was relatively common in the 1940s and 1950s for jewelers to import movements from Switzerland and have them cased locally, often in much more interesting cases than were available in Europe, and very often in 18K rose-gold, which today is much more sought after for for gold cases. |
Movement | Longines Cal 12.68Z manual wind movement, serial 10011153. Running well and keeping good time and comes with a 6-month mechanical warranty for your peace of mind. |
