Dial | Original two-tone dial with inner rectangle is silver and outer in bronze color, with light green patina' throughout. Green lumed numbers, trimmed in black, are aligned to edges of case with railroad marker on outside. Hour and minute hands have lost their lume. Second sub dial is positioned on left of dial at 9 o'clock on this one, but model also exists with second sub dial at bottom. |
Case |
White gold filled decorative rectangular case with design on top and on sides of case. It's the only Illinois to use this case style. Model most often referred to as 'New Yorker' but is also sometimes referred to as 'Manhattan'. Back of case stamped 7888, which matches serial number on inside of lid. Inside lid signed '162 Illinois Watch, Springfield, 14K Gold Filled, Wadsworth Quality' and serial 8207888. Case back is engraved "From Mother to Dad, Dec 25, 1930" - an amazing Christmas gift as the Great Depression was starting. |

17 jewel manual wind movement signed Illinois Watch, Springfield with serial 5280505. Movement recently serviced by our master watchmaker and comes with a 12-month mechanical warranty. |
