Other | To remove the movement of a Borgel cased watch, first pull out spring loaded crown so that the winding stem is clear of the movement. Then the movement and bezel with the crystal unscrews out of the front of the case in one piece. Rolex used Borgel cases to improve the dust and moisture resistance of their watches, eventually culminating in the Rolex Oyster. A great early military piece in fabulous condition! |
