| Size | 29mm across (without crown) and 29mm up and down (without lugs) |
| Dial |
Original butter-white dial in fabulous condition for age, only some "shadow marks" from where hands sat for too long, etching into dial. Gold applied numerals with black railroad track minute markers around outer edge. Stainglass hands with amber lume on hour hand but lost on the minute hand. Second sub dial at bottom. |
| Case | Nickel case with absolutely stunning enameled design on the case, both atop the bezel and along the sides. How this survived almost 100 years in this condition is a testament to the owners of this watch over the century. Back lid is a snap on that still shows the brushed finish. Inside lid marked "Star Watch Case Company" and "Cased and Timed by Elgin National Watch Co" with serial 96745599 (which is a matched set with the number engraved on the case back) |
